Living in Ballinasloe

It has been 4 weeks since I left Galway and I couldnt agree more with Annie. It feels totally different living in another place and then go over to visit. I feel like a stranger at times although I know I shouldnt. I understand that KJ's room is always available for me and I dont mind sleeping in his room as long as he doesnt mind my presence in that room too. Do you KJ?
The Red House is as clean as ever.. I supposed as long KJ is around, it would be! We all know that. He has taught me how to manage my current house too..which is great.. I just cant believe I am learning all these from a younger guy. I mean.. I should be showing him how to do things.. but it seems that he's way better at that..
Where's the rest? Hmm.. Annie or NN as she prefers to be known as for ObViouS Reason(S) is currently working in Galway-hence me being the honorary resident-good job AdMin! Dont think it would be as crazy as her last job in Ennis although it would still be busy esp when you have to cover 5 consultants including geriatric patients.
I have not seen much of the two Final Meds.. well.. the last time I saw them was at the Christmas Party on the 25th Dec.. not much since considering I spent most of my time after that moving my things over to Ballinasloe, and entertaining 3 priests from Rome. I am sure they're back in Galway right now to continue the fight.. and to walk that rather exhausting journey, a path NN and I once been through before.. but yeah.. it's worth it I supposed.. although there'd be times when I feel like quitting this job.
At the moment, I am living with 3 other doctors.. namely May-my old housemate and my SHO; Tan Boon Loong, a Trinity grad, who's currently working with Dr Barton-he was working in St James's-Vascular and Urology-2 busy rotations- a capable man I must say cos I would have committed suicide by the end of my Urology rotation and Harliana Yusof, a UCD grad, working with Mr Flynn, was in Dundalk-a great cook who shares the same interest as I do-Singing! I couldnt ask for more. Boon and Lyana would usually cook from scratch ie no Instant watsoever and I feel bad cos I would use my almost expired instant paste! Yikes!.
Anyway.. this is my room-when it's clean and tidy of course.
What's in Ballinasloe-nothing much really-Portiuncula Hosp (of course),Sport Centre, 3 Supermacs, 10 mins walk from each other, 1 really good Chinese Restaurant-better than Dynasty, Ivory, Royal Villa, China Inn-could be as good as Yen Chinese in Oranmore and 2 other Chinese restaurants, ONE Indian Restaurant, TESCO, Central, Spar, Vodafone, 2 Churches-Catholic and Anglican... basically thats iT! No Dunnes Store, No Meteor. I might be asking too much if I was hoping for Marks and Spencer and Body Shop in Ballinasloe. Ah well.. more reasons to visit Galway then considering the train station is less than 5 mins walk from my house!
