To Mel and NN, all the best with the inductions. It's still hard to believe that you two are working already. You've aged!!!hehehe...kidding.

I'm done with respiratory attachment. I'm doing cardiology. Just one surprise. Two doctors in one room. Chaotic... Never seen anything like that.

Yes, Part II

2 weeks down, 6 more to go. Help me!!! What to do? I just have to brave this. My holiday...my precious holiday.

Sad emotion aside, I'm green with envy at the moment. How come Flav can take a week off? Hey, no fair. I want one too. No, make it 2. I have to be in at 7:30am. Yeah, there's no error there. I wish that's an error myself. But no sweat, I'm determined to make it half-day everyday. Haha... Hey Flav, don't you feel guilty? I mean, aren't you volunteering? Imagine all the sick people needing help. The children crying (I'm hearing it now, next door neighbour). Mothers screaming. Women giving birth. That man in the corner having MI. An old lady that just come in who seems to be having asthmic attack. Pity them. Flav, feel guilty now? Hehe... Anyhoo, enjoy your holiday. You deserve it. Take photos, okay...

To NN and Mel, I hope the graduation ceremony went well. The rain was just part of the celebration ;) .

Okay, that's all from me. I'm beginning to hate blogging for this blog. I'm tired of reading my own posts...

Day 2 & 3

I feel bored. The only useful thing I did so far was taking history. Nothing interesting. I did see bone marrow aspiration(BMA) though. BMA from an HIV-positive patient. The doctors were really careful when they were doing the it. And by the way, the interns did it. And I saw bronchoscopy today. Hmm...

First Freakin Day at QEH

I don't know how to describe my first day. I'm doing respiratory medicine. So, since I'm in tuberculosis endemic area, the respiratory wards will always have patients with TB. Everyone has to wear protective mask. I didn't feel comfortable even when wearing the mask and I think I may become paranoid and hyperchondriac. Alas, life as a health care worker. Exposed to tons of things.

It was TB clinic the whole day today. And guess how many patients I saw. Three. Yeap, just three. How frustrating. Just sitting there in the clinic waiting for patients. The consultant was nice enough to give me something to read. Guidelines to management of TB. Nice or 'Nice'. Yeah, thanks for the subtle hints. I know I don't know much.

And one embarrassing thing happened as well. I was helping this doctor taking blood. So, the doctor left me alone with the patient. My first attempt, blood not enough. Second attempt, no blood. I was hungry and my hands were shaking a bit. Shit I tell you. Pity that 14-year-old boy.
I had to ask this other doctor to take the blood for me.

*Hey, where are you guys? Write something...please*

Truly 39A Upper Newcastle Road

-Flower in front of our NeW HousE-

In total, we made approx 25 trips from 136 GD to 39A Upper Newcastle Rd.. renting the car for 4 days was actually a wise decision.. again.. thanks to KJ! I was argueing with him about renting the car for too long.. I admit it.. I was wrong..

We got the car on Monday.. KJ, CLifford and Flav were moving their things with the help of Kheswant.. Dinner at Oranmore.. I didnt go with them because I have eaten!

Tuesday, Clifford helped me moved my things....

Wednesday.. we went to town to sort out a few things.. bought 3 book shelfs.. and some other things which I dont remember.. oh yea.. we sent the clothes to its own bank..

Thursday.. morning.. sent KJ to CSI.. Fla and I went to the McD Drive thru.. but I dunno how to open the window.. ngai.. that afternoon.. went to Argos to get a chair for KJ.. and we had our dinner at Oranmore.. and later on, drove to SHaNNoN Airport to send Fla.. and I must say.. it was a thrilling experience being at the front seat, next to KJ.. he made it there in just an hour or so.. and Jamie's bf needed 2 hours.. he had to.. otherwise Fla would have missed her flight and therefore would not be able to taste all the dhals.. hehe.. went home.. cleaned the house.. actually it was only KJ who cleaned the house.. Both Stacey and I were fast asleep.. we were just too Tee-ReD..

Friday.. it was just KJ, me and Stacey.. She helped us a lot on Friday.. fixing every single furniture in the house including KJ's chair! Thanks StaCey.. and ate Dinner together..and then, at 2.00am I realised I left my phone in the rented car.. I was so sad.. and was not in a good mood to shout HaRRo.. to check if there's any echo in my room.. or the house.. and for that.. I am so sorry for being so moody with you KJ. I know u tried to cheer me up.. and I just couldnt help it.. and you know why..

Saturday.. collected my phone.. Stacey and KJ missed their bus.. so had to wait for another hour.. to be honest.. I was a lil bit happy cos I get to spend another hour with them.. but when it was time to give that farewell hug.. aiyah.. I was already feeling sad.. and I had to do it fast so that they wont see those tears.. and I was thinking to myself.. "hey.. I have to get used to this.. I will have to leave them one day.. " I went to see Poisedon with Ger... Great Movie.. and then went to the DVD shop nearby to rent another movie-Shall We Dance.. Going back to an empty house was such a painful experience.. I have never felt this lonely and sad before.. very very sad.. fixing those curtains in the living room, moving NN's stuffs to make space in the living room was unbearable.. I seriously miss Fla, Kj and Stacey's company while cleaning the house.. no one there to shout that HaRRo.. or making those obscene comments.., no one there to say How come etc etc and everybody's fav word these days.. Tee-RED and crying for 4 hours didnt help either.

Sunday.. THe Cleaning Day.. I have finally finished cleaning the kitchen and those bins.. and to my beloved housemates.. I have unpacked your food and put them in a separate compartment..
-Our New Kitchen-

-And the Dining Room-

I hope you are enjoying your electives.. dont forget to wear gloves.. hehe.. afterall.. you brought them from Ireland..
  2. Clifford-Hey.. how are you..Doing well I hope.. Your curtains up.. and air freshener off..
  3. KJ-I hope you had a pleasant journey travelling with your sweet jie jie.. and I hope Kuching was fine for you. I am sure you're quite busy with those wedding receptions.. Nothing done so far.. I need to wait for them to terminate the line still.. and also will cash the cheque. Thanks for paying..

  1. I'm back home.
  2. I think KJ is home as well. His sister's wedding only few days away.
  3. Annie has been home for quite some time.
  4. Flav is in India. For medical electives, volunteering and travel.
  5. Mel is the only one in the new house.

I had this conversation with Mel the other day. It's not really accurate but the content is pretty much the same.

Mel: I want to apply for a job. I need to do something this 3 weeks.

Me: What job?

Mel: Cleaner maybe.

Me: Okay...

Mel: ...

Me: You know what? The interview gonna go like this. "So, what's your highest education qualification?" "I just passed my final medical exam. I'm pretty much a doctor..."

Mel: aaaaaaaaa

Me: Hahahaha

That's all folks.
